Another One Bites the Dust

ALBERTO GONZALES RESIGNS
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales announced his resignation Monday, ending months of calls that he would step down from the Justice Department over his role in the dismissal of federal prosecutors and role in expanding the power to spy on Americans.

THE REPLACEMENT?
WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Bush will likely nominate Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to replace Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General, senior administration officials told CNN Monday.

WILL THE DEMOCRATS NOW STEP UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING?
