Clean Coal?
Think again!

On December 22nd of this year a sludge pond at the Tennessee Valley Authority's Kingston Fossil Plant collapsed releasing 2.6 million cubic yards of highly toxic coal ash sludge into the surrounding environment. This is 48 times the volume of the Exxon Valdez oil spill.

UPDATE: The size of the spill is now estimated at 5.4 million cubic yards - over 1 billion gallons!

WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN REPORTED IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA?

A clearer video and MORE from Scholars & Rogues

[Note: the video starts automatically at S&R, but the audio is just airplane noise - very annoying!]
