    I wish you had too.

    You would have loved him, and Rin would have had a crush on him... and your daughters. He was more of the world of spirit than of form and not very talkative, outright laconic, but he FELT good to people, to real people, to the real in people. People liked it when he was around. EVEN after he couldn't talk straight anymore. Still could make a quick, funny quip right in the middle of anything, make even raving lunatics calm down and smile.

    I don't know WHAT possessed him to hook up with my mother! Two people more distinct in temperament and ideas of fun, in ideas about anything, never were born. His only explanation for why he put up with it for sixty years was that he was grateful to her for having his children.

    Fancy that.... ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
