ReplyDeleteI fixed the Dangerous Clickage button. For some reason the old code would direct to the proper YouTube page, however it only yielded a blank screen and the video would not play.
ReplyDeleteI found new code which works correctly.
Well, you may only have caught YouTube in one of its obtuse moments... or... I notice shit on the sidebar, especially the search function, just tanks for no discernible reason, sometimes temporarily and sometimes for good and sometimes you just have to re-do the module. I think they fool with things behind the scenes and throw wrenches into the works... and also browsers tend to have moments or hours or days of odd disagreements with certain things that USED to work out jake.... Only the cyber gods know.

ReplyDeleteSee, even though I feel very warmly toward it on principle, I have never enjoyed listening to it, so... I'd've stayed ignorant of the problem for much longer. :o]

How the heck do I do that?
ReplyDeleteI used to have a turntable that played at 16-2/3 rpm. I tried playing it at that speed once and found that all the animal sounds were in fact human voices. Also there is more dialog relevant to that heard at normal speed. To top it off there are other animal sounds which surely would be revealed as human voices if it were slowed down even more.
ReplyDeleteSome older tape recorders had multiple speeds to where you could tape it at the higher speed and play it at the lower speed, beyond that I guess you could spin the turntable by hand...
One night some friends and I were sitting around listening to it at 16 when a group of other more distant friends came in tripping on acid. They stood and stared at us briefly then went running away in a panic. After that they would avoid us when we would meet in public etc.
One day I confronted one of them and found out they thought we were practicing witchcraft or voodoo or some such thing!
An' here ya thought you were being extra-cool... LOL.
