It made me SO sick by over 15 years ago that I drop kicked my tv off the headlands into the sea.
And I'd've thought a heck of a lot more of this video if they'd've included Rachel and Keith and PBS. Moyers was the last gasp of decent programming on there. Frontline has sold out so badly it makes me CRAZY almost every time I see it.
And we shouldn't BOTHER bitching about the media, except to scream TURN OFF YER TV, everywhere we go. We CAN'T revive it, or turn it into something worthy until we've DONE that... pulled out EVERY trace of partisanship and gone out to put their masters out of business.
Believe it or not, Utah's most powerful radio station which has been carrying "The Sean Hannity Show" since it's insipid inception has decided to drop the show in favor of more civil talk and more local programming.
I don't know if this is happening elsewhere, but I sure hope so!
He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder. —Albert Einstein

The video could have been two hours, easy, and not touched on it all...
ReplyDeleteEntirely true... still... since it was Media Matters... we know....
